Changing your address
To avoid unpleasant surprises and floods of missed telephone calls, don’t wait until the last minute to alert service providers and utility companies of your change of address.

Many of these companies now give you the option to change your address and telephone number via the Internet. All you have to do is fill out a simple form, and they’ll take care of the rest. Also, be sure to inform all credit card companies and your banking institutions of your move, as well as any newspaper or magazine services you subscribe to. If you plan on ordering pizza the day of the move, you may want to ensure that your telephone will be connected on the big day!
